We knew we wanted a short, to-the-point ceremony that was still deeply personal and meaningful, and she delivered that perfectly. Ruth took the time to really get to know us as a couple and held private sessions with each of us to help work through our vows. In those sessions, she listened with such care and insight, genuinely understanding our feelings for one another, and then wove those emotions so beautifully into our ceremony. My now husband is someone who finds it hard to show emotion to people he doesn’t know, but Ruth created a space where he felt safe, understood, and supported. With her patience and warmth, she was able to draw that emotion out of him and help him find words that truly reflected his heart, resulting in the most beautiful, heartfelt vows — something we will cherish forever. Absolutely loved the service that Ruth provided for a wedding I attended recently. The whole celebrant service was upbeat, joyous and above all, Ruth had really taken the time to get to know the bride and groom and their backgrounds which made it so much more personal and engaging. When I first spoke with Ruth, I actually had 2 other celebrants lined up to chat to, to see who would be the best fit. However following our initial chat, I knew Ruth was who I wanted for our big day, so cancelled the other meetings. I’m so pleased I made that decision, Ruth made the whole process both fun and super easy and the big day went perfectly with everyone commenting on how lovely the ceremony was. We really want to thank Ruth for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. It is quite hard to put into words how happy, impressed and touched we were by Ruth’s ceremony, but we had the most fabulous time on the day, and all those days leading up to it were made so much better thanks to the amazing Ruth. The whole experience from beginning to end was great, she reassured us when we needed it, guided us, inspired us and, quite simply Ruth really saw us, both as individuals and as a couple, meaning the ceremony she created for us was exactly right. We also needed to implement translations of our service into the day, and with Ruth’s help we were able to achieve this seamlessly and in a way that didn’t disrupt or leave anyone feeling left out.
